With this realization, Nisimulie Africa has partnered with a leading Hot-Air Balloon Safari operator in Serengeti and Ngorongoro, a key player in responsible tourism, in offering this unique experience.

Our partners in these Balloon Safaris participate in several socio-economic and environmentally sustainable initiatives including carbon offsetting with Carbon Tanzania for carbon offsetting, annual monetary pledges to the Tanzania National Parks Authority to fuel conservation efforts, investments in de-snaring and anti-poaching projects with Frankfurt Zoological Society (FZS), offering employment opportunities to the adjacent communities as well as supporting the education efforts of the local communities in building and equipping classrooms, staff shelters and lavatory blocks at the Robanda schools.

About the Videographer / Photographer

Nisimulie Africa closely works with broadly experienced and well-traveled videographers and photographers and visual artists specializing in travel, lifestyle and aerial photography to generate content that tells stories.

Items to note

As Balloon rides take effect in the early bone-chilling mornings of the African wild plains, it is sensible to carry a warm fleece or sweater that can later be taken off when it gets warmer. It is also favorably recommended to carry a hat/cap to keep off the discomfort from the radiant heat from the burners even more so for the depilated.
Children under the age of 7 years are not allowed.
Balloon Safaris are unsuitable for pregnant women, people with mobility impairment or underlying health conditions (heart conditions, brittle bones, amputation, neck or back disorders)
An average body weight of 80kgs / 176lbs is allowed per passenger. Passengers weighing 50% more than the permitted body weight (i.e. 120kgs / 265lbs) may be charged for two places.

A professional videographer and photographer to accompany you throughout your wedding day covering the entire days’ special moments. Do not have to worry about carrying around cumbersome photography equipment.

Terms and Conditions

The stated rate is the total cost for an exclusive 16 pax – 1 hour hot air balloon ride. The rates have been issued based on the current taxes, park fees, concession fees, VAT exemptions and other taxes. Should any of these be changed by the Government of Tanzania we reserve the right to amend these rates and charge the additional amount to the clients, to be paid before arrival at camp, even if the booking had been confirmed and pre paid.

Itinerary

04:30 a.m – 06:00 a.m

You will be picked up from your accommodation before the crack of dawn for a drive under the cover of the Serengeti night to the Hot Air Balloon Launch site arriving at approximately 06:00 a.m

06:00 a.m - 06:30 am

After all pre-flight inspections and a safety briefing from your pilot, you will be allocated slots in the Balloon Basket and positioned ready for takeoff for about an hour-long ride above the most panoramic views of wild Tanzania.

07:45 a.m – 09:00 a.m

Upon landing, you will be met by your safari vehicles at the landing site. Following a bubbly champagne toast, you will be driven to your own exclusive bush-breakfast under the African sky for your morning breakfast with 360^oviews of wildlife around you.

09:00 a.m – 09:45 a.m

Once done with your breakfast, you will get into your vehicles and relocated to an amicably agreed location with your safari guide for the rest of the days activities.
