Feral Encounters is an enchanting 11 nights / 12 days fly-in fly-out wild experience that takes you to the wild and untamed destinations of South Tanzania. The safari gives you a taste of the wildest destinations including; the magical Nyerere national park which is amongst the most astronomically immense bulwarked wildlife sanctuaries in Africa relatively undisturbed by human impact, the mystical Ruaha National Park for an infrequent experience of game viewing spiced up by fascinating undulating landscapes and the mythical Katavi national park, a candidly impalpable wildlife paradise. This safari gives you the opportunity to deviate from the norm and explore some of the unique gems of a Tanzanian safari experience. Get up close with nature as you explore the vibrant wildlife the south has in store.

Terms and Conditions
The price indicated is the total safari cost per person based on 2 people sharing and issued based on the current taxes, park fees, concession fees, VAT exemptions and other taxes. Should any of these be changed by the Government of Tanzania we reserve the right to amend these rates and charge the additional amount to the clients, to be paid before arrival at camp, even if the booking had been confirmed and pre-paid.
Itinerary
Arrive into Julius Nyerere International Airport where you will be met by your guide who will accompany you to your hotel for the night in Dar es salaam.
Meal Plan: Half Board
After an early morning breakfast, you will, once again, be met by your guide at your hotel lounge for your safari briefing. Afterwards you will be accompanied to the Julius Nyerere International Airport where you will board a flight for the Nyerere national park.
Part of what was originally Africa’s largest game reserve, Nyerere national park is largely feral and has an astronomical and vibrant wildlife esse, hosting about half of Africa’s wild dogs population. The presence of the Rufiji River makes it all the while more intriguing, offering guest the opportunity to engage in a unique game viewing experience.
Get into your roaming mode and explore wide and wild by vehicle, on foot or by water by engaging in unique game drives, walking safaris, boat ride experiences crowned with sport fishing, photographic safaris and bird watching. Add to the twist of the excitement by choosing to go fly camping in the wild.

Wake up to the wild rhythms and beats of the Nyerere National Park with an early breakfast set out in plain sight of the wildlife before catching your flight to the majestic Ruaha National park.
Largely untamed with a huge diversity of wildlife, Ruaha is famous for her breathtaking landscapes ranging from open plains to rolling hills, river systems to wetlands and kopjes to mountains that harbor an unrivalled wealth of biota. The park boasts of the third largest population of wild dogs, large packs of lions, hyenas and other predators. Ruaha is home to some of the most beautiful landscapes in Tanzania dotted by beautiful baobab vegetation.
On your 4 day stay at Ruaha, explore the wild lands in a four-wheeler by either day or night game drives. Take for the skies on a hot-air balloon safari. The adventurous type can opt for a walking safari. Other activities include bird watching, photographic safaris and spa treatments at your lodge.

With a journey that resets your soul, immersing you in nature at its most raw and giving you the space to detach from everyday life it is time to say goodbye to Nyerere National park as you embark onto your shared chartered flight to cocoon in the embrace of the Katavi National Park.
Isolated, untrammeled and seldom visited, Katavi National park is a true wilderness, providing the few intrepid souls who make it there with a thrilling taste of Africa as if it must have been a century ago. Katavi’s dramatic scenery is as varied, as it is pristine composed of flood plains of thick reeds, dense waterways, tangled brachystegia woodland, riverine vegetation, seasonal lakes and lush marshy swamps with murky waters that are home to a multifarious biota. With the presence of a vibrant wildlife scene, the park has the facility to encompass you into an authentic “one with nature” feel that is second to none. Some of the park highlights include; Day and night game drives, fly camping, ambulating safaris and the parks most singular spectacle; sightings of legion of hippos.

While the future holds the promise of more life-changing safaris, it is time to bid farewell to these wild scapes and settle town to life as we know it but taking the memories too to share with the rest of the world. Board a scheduled flight to Kilimanjaro international Airport and catch your flight back home.
